No. Star Jones and her husband Al Reynolds are not getting a divorce. This article is not about shocking celebrity divorces. It is about gossip. It is cruel and irresponsible to start or repeat bad rumors about other people. This is particularly true regarding divorce.

First, it insults Star Jones and Al Reynolds by denying they have the integrity and backbone to honor their wedding vows. Would you like people speaking this way about you and your spouse?

Second, rumors of divorce or affairs and such can cast a psychological shadow of insecurity on a marriage, and that is willfully harming someone else's marriage. Of course, most couples will fight off these kind of attacks, but they are still harmful attacks nevertheless. Nobody has the right to do that.

I am sure most of you probably know that Christy Brinkley and her fouth husband have separated.

Apparently her husband has been having an affair with a 19 year old girl and this is not his first affair with a young woman. Christy apparently found out about the affair while they were attending this girl's high school graduation and the girl's father warned Christy's husband to stay away from his daughter.

This is not time to bash Christy for having four failed marriages. I read some comments made by people about her saying that her four failed marriages had one thing in common -- Christy. And, others blamed her saying that she should think about the effect that this divorce will have on the children and what a bad example she is setting for her failure to honor the wedding vows.
