Let's Ask for God's Help

Three Crosses
I am strongly convinced that God has an endless supply of answers to prayer already prepared and waiting for people to pray.

When we stand before God on Judgment Day, I imagine the tears that will be wiped away will be those tears for the loved ones lost, families lost, marriages lost, children hurt because of so many rich opportunities God provided for us at a great cost and yet we overlooked them and dismissed them as unimportant and unworthy of our time. And, yet the reason our tears can be wiped away is that for those who are saved by grace through faith will also have fruits of faith.

Saved people know how precious people are to God. Saved people care. Saved people seek God how to get involved. So, this message is an appeal to those who are saved, who are born again, who have turned from sin and who have received Jesus as Lord on the throne of your lives.

When we are unfaithful to God, God lovingly plans whether or not to open the doors for answered prayer usually withholding answers to prayer and doing all He can wisely do to persuade us to receive Him because we need salvation before anything else is important.

So, part of the reason we need to be close to God in prayer goes beyond getting answers to prayer and focus on our relationship with God, and that relationship opens the floodgates as our relationship with God deepens.

Sincerely,
Dan
